Silk painting has been around since ancient times. My work is a blend of the ancient art and my own style and methods. I use a brush to apply dyes to stretched silk fabric utilizing many techniques and media such as wax, salts and resists. Each creation is designed, painted and steamed to insure that the rich hues of color are set on the silk.
Scarves and pillows are washable in cold water. My art is "one of a kind" and cannot be exactly reproduced although they will be similar in color or design. Whether you frame it, wear it or just love it--my silk is uniquely yours!

8x54 inch (Small scarf that fits just around the neck)
11x60 inch (Popular Size)
14x72 inch (Popular Size)
22x90 inch (Large scarf worn as a shawl, around the waist, neck)
Silk Art Pieces can be worn, used as wall hangings, furniture drapes and as table runners.
